"Feel"

Break the surface,
Struggle,
Fight to gain your every breath.

I won't deny it any longer,
So long as you submit
Fulfill my whims and desires.

The crystal layer that engulfs you is peaceful, serene, calm,
It's a shame that you taint it with your blood
You destroy the beauty that is nature,
Something worth far more than you or your dreams.

And I stand over you,
The crystal distorting your image into something far more tolerable,
Watching you gasp for air,
My eyes aligned with yours,
Your pupils growing, the color running into the back of your head,
The red of your blood streaking my eyes with hate,
Growing stronger, brighter, more menacing with every second of pain.

The last bubble of temptation floats to the surface,
And with it you grow still, cold
I don't let go of my grip,
For though you no longer can feel me,
I can feel you,
And that is all I had ever wanted
